In 2017, during the height of popularity for Despacito, 19 tracks mainly in Spanish have made it into the Top 100. The year 2020 will see the number will increase to 41 tracks in this category. Justin Bieber re-mixed Despacito with a Spanish-language version in 2017 shortly after which the most well-known artists began collaborating with reggaeton artists.
