Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, at New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has gained her recognition across a range of kinds of genres, from thrillers to adventures to period films. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and producer, was born within New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and her were her youngest siblings. She began to develop an interest in acting from a very young age, and began auditioning for commercials at age seven. After that, she was enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and later took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. Her debut came as an actor in the film North (1994) aged nine. At eight, she was a part of Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson appeared next in Just Cause (1996), but the film Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The movie is about two young girls that are running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000), in which she played a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson received the attention of a whole new generation. The actress is most famous for playing Nell Jones (on CBS' famous show NCIS Los Angeles). She was a prize-winning actress and one of the main cast members on the series. In addition to appearing on the production, she's also an accomplished actress on stage. She has given some of the most impressive performance, such as in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment as a child. As a child she fell in love with acting. Smith's parents helped her with getting her first role in the acting world when she was just six. She appeared in the Dannon commercial on TV. Like many young actresses she began her stage career. While she made her on-stage debut in Wildflower she would also work on different projects across USA. She was a student at in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
